Argumentative Research Paper based on a theme from A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hans berry
Your task for your final formal writing assignment of the semester is to compose a research paper on Nicole Dennis Benn’s Here Comes the Sun. The goal of this assignment is for you to identify a theme from this novel that interests you, formulate a question that stems from that theme, develop an argument to answer that question, and finally to supplement your argument with outside scholarly sources. For example, some relevant themes in Here Comes the Sun are sexuality, race, gender, environment, poverty, etc. Once you zero in on a theme you want to tackle, you may then form an argument which concerns that theme.
