Act V concludes Othello

Act V concludes Othello in all its tragedy and pain. In your first paragraph, please comment on the fact that Desdemona lies about who murdered her. Why do
you think she does this? Is she trying save Othello? Is this noble or typical domestic abuse victim mentality? Please include a quotation about her or from her
(can be from a different Act) that argues for or against this lie as being part of her true character. In your second paragraph, explain if you agree or disagree
with Othello’s choice to commit suicide? Is this his way of agreeing with capital punishment?
