Description
Information technology (IT) industry presents a viable source of economic advancement for African American workers, but the representation of African-American men in the IT industry is abysmal. While we have gained much understanding about promoting STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education of African-American students in colleges, our understanding of their perception about IT career and their IT career advancement after college graduation remains limited. Therefore, this research study seeks to answer two important and meaningful research questions:
