Alabama law makers and appellate courts binding arbitration agreements in contracts

Alabama law makers and appellate courts have been very fond of binding arbitration agreements in contracts. Alabama appellate courts have forced parties to arbitration even when one of the parties was unaware of arbitration clauses in the contract and even in cases where one party claims the entire contract was based upon a fraud. Do you feel strict enforcement of binding arbitration agreements is fair? What about in cases where one party did defraud the other? Why or why not?
