Allied forces attacked mainland Europe

Before the Allied forces attacked mainland Europe, they had to plan on where exactly they should invade.
They found that there were three major places that might be good places to invade. These places include:
Pas de Calais, France
Normandy, France
Bypassing France and invading the European mainland via the Balkan states and Italy
