An American citizen living in Yemen

Anwar al-Awlaki, an American citizen living in Yemen, was a prominent Islamic cleric and one of the world’s
most-wanted men. Two of the 9/11 hijackers are thought to have attended his sermons just before the attacks,
and both the Fort Hood shooter and the Christmas Day claim to have been heavily influenced by al-Awlaki. He
was killed using a U.S. unmanned drone missile. Do you support a U.S. policy that targets and kills American
citizens believed to engage in international terrorist activities? What, if any, legal issues does such a policy
raise? Political issues? Moral issues?
