Analyzing ethics in family therapy.

  Complete a paper analyzing the ethical dimension of family therapy. This paper should be three pages of content, with a cover page and a reference page for a total of five pages. An abstract is not needed. The paper should include three scholarly references, outside of the textbooks. At least one of these references should be a reference to specific code of ethics. Scholarly references should not be websites, trade books, or opinions. Additionally, scholarly references should be from publications within the last 5-8 years. You should discuss the following questions in this paper:  Is family therapy value free? Should it be? Take a position and generate arguments for or against. (This is not in reference to monetary value, or if family therapy is inherently valuable, but instead whether family therapy relies on certain values)  How might your own values about families affect your approach to working with them in therapy?  What specific values (if any) do you consider to be essential to developing a therapeutic relationship with a family in treatment?  What do the codes of ethics say about family therapy? Does the code of ethics you chose to utilize change how you would conduct therapy?  How does a Christian worldview affect the ethical treatment of families?
