Aristotle Analysis

Description

Write a paper on your agree or disagreement with the philosophies and teachings of Aristotle. The paper must be at least three pages, double-spaced, at least 750 words or more. Include your name and the class at the top. You can submit your assignment electronically or in printed form. If submitting electronically, please allow me to edit the document. You can use the following prompt to help you think about and write your paper:

Aristotle argues that everything we do in life aims toward a single end: happiness. His argument is the basis of our founding credo that all have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Is he right about this argument on happiness? Aristotle also argues that slavery is a real fact of life, AND that slavery is both natural and right. Do you agree? Is slavery both real and right? If slavery is right, then what pursuit of happiness does the slave have? If we all have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, then how do we reconcile Aristotle’s belief that there’s nothing wrong with enslavement.
