Article analysis

This assignment requires you to find, read and critically evaluate an article from
current (published no longer than six months ago) magazine. No journals, advice
columns, newspapers or advertisements are to be used. The article you choose to
evaluate should present and discuss a position on a psychological topic or issue. The
source of the article does not matter; you may use any popular magazine as long as the
article has been published within the last six months. However articles from Readers
Digest, U.S News & World Report, Science News, or Time Magazine are not appropriate
for the assignment, so please do not use them.

specific content of your paper should be a critical evaluation of the argument being presented by the author of
the article – not a response to it. Do not offer a personal opinion on the topic.
