The FAA has incredible power to not only regulate nearly all aspects of American aviation but also to enforce those regulations as well. The FAA is both legislature and police force. Choose two of the FAA’s regulatory areas described in Chapter 1 of Practical Aviation and Aerospace Law and the other readings, describe the functions of those two areas, and describe ways that the FAA could (or perhaps does) over-regulate or under-regulate the field in light of what we know about human nature. These are intended to be scholarly dialogs and for each thread, the student must support his/her assertions with proper scholarly support in APA format with sources listed as References at the end of the paper.
