Best Practice for Field Education for First and Second-Year Social Workers.

What are best practices for mentoring or field instruction for first and second-year social workers.
Methodology: I will interview 10 to 12 social worker who have worked as field instructors.
2.1 Action Capstone Topic. Use current (within 5-7 years), PRIMARY resources to support Statements.
Textbooks are not primary resources. Theses and dissertations are not considered peer-reviewed published
articles.

3.2 Need for the Project and Evidence to Make Change.
Explains a need for the project and provides clear supporting evidence to make a change.
3.3 Theoretical Foundation. (Restate the research design and methodology).
Describes the theoretical framework or conceptual model to be used in your action research study. (Insert a
copy of the logic model or graphical representation of your research design.) This design should reflect the
project mission, aims, and goals.
3.4 Researcher Positionality. Collaboration with insiders(no affiliation, but working within the organization).

4.1a *Only for Quantitative Measures and Instruments.
Provides a complete list and describes each variable and the corresponding data collection instrument or
measurement tool. All instruments are attached as an appendix.
4.1b *Only for Qualitative Constructs and Interview Guide

4.2 Pilot and Field Studies (This study will not employ a pilot and field tests).
If necessary, describes how a field or pilot test will be conducted.
