Case Briefing Using Legal Analysis and Reasoning (IRAC)

Using Legal Analysis and Reasoning (IRAC), Select a case. The case must be from a U.S. court, must be within the last 10 years and NOT a case we covered or will cover in class. The case should have gone up on appeal and been decided by the court. Describe how the legal concepts apply to the situation and how and why a court ruled as it did or is likely to rule. Second, include 2-3 paragraphs setting forth your opinion or reflection on the decision of the court, thinking about the public policy repercussions of the case. Discuss why the court ruled in the manner that they did and do you agree/disagree and why, again, thinking about public policy.
