Commentary paper

In this paper, you will use and analyze the information from your Observation Summary Papers. This
Commentary Paper involves writing an 4-5 page paper (type written, double spaced, standard 1″ margins) and
applying what you have learned from class. The following steps should help you construct your paper:
Look through your Observation Summary Papers. Pick 1 Observation Summary Paper and the child from that
paper to be your “focus child”.
Read through your Observation Summary Paper for the child you have identified will be your focus child. You
may want to watch the video observation of the child again.

Review the guidelines for the Commentary Paper. The guidelines are also available in the Assignment
Guidelines, under the Paper and Projects Menu item on Open Lab.
