Conducting patient assessment

The purpose of this assignment is for the student to apply pathophysiology, anatomy and physiology knowledge in conducting patient assessment.
Students will then identify appropriate nursing interventions related to fluid electrolyte imbalances based on assessment findings, while assessing and
identifying appropriate nursing interventions to provide best patient care.
Address these discussion board topic prompts:
You suspect that the patient may be demonstrating signs and symptoms of dehydration. What assessment findings would you anticipate?
What subjective questions should you ask the patient during or after completing the physical assessment to collect the necessary information in
planning care for this patient? What lab values and/or diagnostic test results would you need to review?
Identify 2-3 independent nursing interventions you can implement. Use evidence from the literature to provide rationales for these interventions.
