  Part 1: Write a 250 word max response to these questions. Be sure to fully explain your position, citing a high quality source as evidence (i.e academic journals, scholarly articles, current laws/policy, court cases etc.). Describe the institutional features and powers of the Congress of the United States. Be sure to consider terms and modes of election as well (see Article I of the Constitution). Consider bicameralism as well: what are the features of bicameralism, and does it accomplish what it is meant to accomplish? In light of what you have read, and current events, do you think Congress as an institution is functional or dysfunctional? Part 2: Write one response to each of these other responses to the questions above (2 responses to 2 other responses). Each should be 150 words, and be sure to directly address the main points made in the original posting. "Good posting" or "I agree" will not suffice for this part of the assignment.
