Creating a culture of innovation and creativity

Thank you for submitting your first assignment. Your assignment was reviewed for academic integrity.
Unfortunately, I was not able to grade your assignment because I notice a few sentences that matched
information on external websites. The information did not have proper in-text citations (see matching color
sentences in report). Note: The color highlight words from titles/templates are fine but not the full sentences
taken from the website with no in-text (author info) citation at the end of them.
Per Strayer’s Academic Integrity policy, students must give credit to the sources (authors) by providing in-text
citations at the end of directly quoted and/or summarized sentences. In the reference list, which is located at
the end of the document, students must also cite the full reference information that corresponds with the in-text
citations that were used in the paragraph of the assignment.
Since, your incident was less severe, you will have been given the opportunity to resubmit this assignment.
Below are some options, you need to take regarding the matching sentences that didn’t not have proper in-text
citations before you resubmit it. Choice the best option for you and then resubmit.
Option 1: Remove the sentence and resubmit. if the sentence does not address the assignment question.
Option 2: Remove the sentence, replace with content of your own words and resubmit.
Option 3: Put an in-text citation at the end of sentence, quote marks at the beginning and end of the sentence,
provide the full reference information in the list at the end of the document, then resubmit.
Option 4: Summarize the directly quoted material (sentence), put an in-text at the end, provide the full
reference information in the list at the end of the document, then resubmit.
OR
Option 5: Replace the sentence with new information that addresses the question. Don’t forget to use an in-text
citation if you are using external information again. If you are using your own words to provide new information,
then no in-text citation is needed.
This was the feedback from my professor in which I received this paper from here initially
