The advice for this assignment is to write succinctly, yet detailed in relation to your arguments. If you were to choose age, as an example, you my wish to discuss how the probation practices can promote equality to specifically young people, or to what extent probation practices leads to disadvantages of this age group. You do not need to discuss all age, ethnic or disability groups, so it might be easier to focus on particular ones you've been reading about in the literature to structure a response.
