Critical Appraisal of Primary Evidence
Design a research question that seeks to answer or inform a relevant clinical exercise science practice aspect. Search for published primary evidence papers (e.g. intervention studies) that answer this research question, and select a paper from these search results to review and critically appraise. Read and summarise the study presented in the research paper. Select an appropriate quality appraisal tool, apply this tool to the selected research paper and assess the quality of the research paper. Present a summary of the quality assessment and a summary of whether or not this study would influence your clinical practice as an exercise professional, and if yes, how it might influence your clinical practice.
