Decision Theory Within the Global Marketplace 3

Part 1: As we have learned this week, conflict is not always a bad thing. Moreover, conflict can bring about positive change if managed correctly. Using a
local business, organization, or place of employment, discuss a conflict issue that required conflict management skills. After you have done so, discuss how
conflict either brought about, or could have brought about, positive change in your local business, organization, or place of employment. Discuss how your
management and leadership skill either helped, or could have helped, in the conflict and negotiation process in a manner beneficial to all parties involved.

Part 2: Assume the role of a senior-level manager in a Middle Eastern multinational company. You have discovered that partnering companies that have
done business with your company for decades have been found to have engaged in highly unethical practices in conflict with your company’s cultural norms.
Even worse, it has been rumored that these companies have engaged in human rights violations and possible financial issues that would be considered
criminal in your local area. To make matters more complex, such activity is perfectly legal where these companies operate. Nevertheless, your company has
an ethical image to keep in your local area and the news media want to interview you about these issues. How would you address these issues with the
partnering companies called into question? Importantly, how do you keep your company from suffering much damage due to poor publicity? Thoroughly
explain.

Part 3: Every organization has its own particular needs. As such, organizations should have leadership put in place that is effective. That said, there’s no such
thing as a one-size-fits-all approach to leadership. In your local business, organization, or place of employment, identify an effective leadership model that
you feel would be appropriate for your organization’s goals, objectives, and overall mission. In your estimation, is the leadership in your organization
effective? If so, in what ways? If not, what might you recommend if provided the opportunity?

For each part: Embed course material concepts, principles and theories, which require supporting citations along with at least three scholarly peer reviewed
