A central question of moral philosophy concerns how one ought to live. Although none of the philosophers we have read has addressed this issue in its full generality, one certainly finds ideas relevant to this question in the pieces we have read by Julia Driver, Thomas Hill, Martin Luther King, and Samuel Scheffler. Drawing (explicitly) on at least three of these authors, discuss some of the issues which arise in thinking about how one ought to live, commenting explicitly on the extent to which you agree with their ideas, and explaining why you agree or disagree.
