Description
View a two-part Al-Jazeera documentary titled “Kill Him Silently: Mossad vs. Khaled Meshaal” (each are about 45 minutes long, so plan accordingly) and answer the following questions:
What were the unintended consequences of the attempt on Meshaal? Was it just tactical repercussions, or did the assassination attempt have strategic implications?
Do you believe the use of targeted killings are justified and an effective operation to counter a perceived enemy? Explain your reasoning?
As always, remember to use multiple credible sources to support your analysis. You can start your posts anytime before the due date (29 SEP), but I would like your initial posting made by 25 SEP to give folks ample time to prepare thoughtful responses.
A note about Al-Jazeera: It is funded in whole or in part by the Qatari government, so it may be made to influence the viewer.
