Eat This – Not That Book Analysis

Go to a restaurant that provides the nutritional facts on the menu/website (e.g. Panera, Olive Garden, Subway, etc.). Select one healthy (“Eat This”) and one unhealthy (“Not That”) MEAL that you would eat for lunch or dinner and discuss their nutritional content and health value as described below.

Part 1: Describe the nutritional content of the unhealthy meal (1) and healthy (2).

For each meal complete the following:

List all items and their associated nutritional facts;
Add up the nutrients from each item and post totals in the chart
Calculate how much of your DRIs this meal would satisfy (e.g., calories, carbohydrates, protein, fat, trans fat, added sugar, and empty calories.

Part 2: Respond to the following questions using the requirements described below:

Compare and contrast two meals:

Are the three-energy nutrients in this meal in or out of balanced?
What effects these meals may have on the body energy metobolism?
Discuss the health value of these meals in terms of health promotion, prevention of chronic diseases and weight management.

Provide comprehensive answers to questions 1 and 2 at a minimum of TWO formal paragraphs ECH (i.e., 5-6 complete sentences per paragraph);
Answers should demonstrate knowledge and application of content and concepts learned in the module.
Answers provided supporting statements using the textbook and at minimum ONE additional reputable sources;
Correct APA style is used for in-text citations and the reference list;
