The teacher educator will participate in a book study using the book, "Educating Esme: The Diary of a Teacher's First Year." The readings are assigned for outside class work and then discussed each week in class. For each assigned section, we have discussed and worked with a summary of the critical elements of the section read and your opinion of it, including if you would have done the same thing, handled the incident in the same manner, etc.
Write a final reflection, entitled, "What do | see in my future as a first year teacher’ discussing what you see as your ideal
first year classroom opportunity and how you will broach issues similar to those Esme faced.
