Events surrounding the sack of Rome (410)

  Write a research paper in which you compare two of the fifth-century sources, Augustine, Orosius, or Salvian (as chosen by you), considering at least two of the central questions: 1) How did these authors understand and explain the (events surrounding the) sack of Rome (410); 2) how did they respond to questions raised by contemporaries; 3) what actions did they recommend; 4) how did they look at the future?
