How does gatekeeping affect the type of information that is distributed in the traditional media? Discuss how
social media changes the way the agenda is traditionally set and the way the public receives information. What
are some of the inherent advantages and disadvantages of the way social media contributes to agenda
setting? Give examples from current events.
