Gender Anxiety in Science Fiction

  How may science fiction communicate anxiety about gender in society? Incorporate into your answer course concepts relating to science, gender, and social power (e.g. relative status or, conversely, social marginalization). In making your argument, mention at least one central idea from readings by Roberts, Newton, and Kavanaugh. Also incorporate at least ONE example of gender anxiety from the movie Alien (1997).
