whether tacitly or explicitly – to persuade the intended audience? What devices or
strategies have been employed – fairly or deceptively – to persuade the subject’s
audience? How did those responsible for persuasion cajole, persuade, or convince
others to hold certain beliefs or convictions about their product, service, idea, or
group?
