GOOD AND BAD BRANDS

A ) Identify three (3) “great” brands and describe what makes them great (25 pts)
For help in selecting your list of “Good” brands, you may choose from the list of the top 100 best
brands found on lnterbrand Best Brands website or search thru the sources listed under Branding
Resources on the course website. At least one (1) of your brands should be a brand not on the top
100 list. Try to think of a non-traditional brand that is successful and explain what makes it great.

For each brand, discuss the steps in “Building a Strong Brand: The Four Steps of Brand
Building”. (Module 3)

B) Then iden tijfy three “bad” brands and discuss what branding aspects have detracted
