Since you will most likely have to be the bearer of good and bad tidings, I’d like you to write two messages, one with good news, and one with bad news. A third part of the assignment is to methodically discuss each of your messages. Here are the particulars:
· Open the Good News / Bad News document in Moodle. There are four scenarios offered here; you need to select one Good News scenario and one Bad News scenario.
· Write a formal, appropriate message for each scenario. Pay attention to content, tone, spelling / grammar, and style…and let me know if you have any questions or comments (text message gets quickest responses).
· The third part of your blog discusses the choices you made for your Good News message and Bad News message. This third section can be informal. Why did you choose the subject matter that you chose? How did you attempt to use the right tone for your audience? How did you show respect and ease any awkwardness? Guide me through your thought process for each message and tell me. Discuss them thoroughly (include details, specific examples).
