Abstract Vicarious Liability can be defined as circumstances in which an individual is held liable for the wrongdoings of another. In a professional setting, an employer would be held responsible for the actions or errors of their employees. In the case of Weinstein Co, the company was potentially held liable for the conduct of Harvey Weinstein, although they claimed to have no knowledge of any misconduct. This research will explore the exposure to possible investor and victim lawsuits against Weinstein Company as the allegations of sexual assault and rape piled against Harvey Weinstein in 2017. The company and its new leaders were also faced with the decision to dissolve the company or attempt to salvage the business.
