History of American education

    1. Summarize the history of American education. 2. Compare and contrast the three sociological perspectives on education. 3. Summarize the educational attainment of Black, Hispanic, and Asian students and the reasons for their differences. From your readings, what do you think can be done to lessen the gap between these various groups of students? 4. Discuss what you think are two of the most pressing problems facing our education system. Be sure to fully explain why you believe these problems must be addressed and propose solution/s for each of them.
