How and why the Cold War started

First, describe how and why the Cold War started. You can use any of the sources from assignment #1.
Second, you will have to describe the current intemational situation. Third, you will have to note any
similarities between the two periods. In your conclusion, you wilt have to decide if the evidence points to a
“New Cold War.” Perhaps the comparison has be exaggerated or is just incorrect. Or, the current
international situation bears some resemblance to the Cold War, but is different in important way, or ways.
