How one should live one’s life.

Compare and contrast two short stories and make an argument. In this course: we have discussed ideas of happiness, poverty, the American Dream, and we are ending with a discussion on forms of truth, finding meaning in life, and existential crisis as the consequence of nihilism and feelings of futility. All of these discussions, of course; are related to entropy—the gradual pulling apart of the order in our lives, including our Selves.
It is more helpful to read Genesis Creation Story (Adam&Eve) Here is your topic: Compare and contrast the short stories “A Clean, Well-Lighted Place,” by Ernest Hemingway and “The Life You Save May Be Your Own” by Flannery O’Connor, and answer the following questions:
How does each writer deal with the loss of meaning in life (nihilism)? Explain how each writer addresses the issues of innocence (and perhaps ignorance) and its loss (experience). Explain what you think each story teaches about how one should live one’s life.
Each of these items requires a comparison & contrast as well as an argument (at times, your argument is the comparison and contrast you are making).
