This week we’re continuing our examination of specific laws and policies that address human rights issues on the job. This week we’re looking at human rights codes.
We’ll read the Manitoba Humans Rights Code and examine the website of the Manitoba Human Rights Commission. We’ll also read sections of the Canadian Human Rights Commission’s website. In class, we’ll hear from Karen Sharma, the Executive Director of the Manitoba Human Rights Commission.

- According to the Canadian Human Rights Commission, what is the duty to accommodate? What is undue hardship? Do you think the Manitoba Human Rights Code strikes the right balance between accommodation and undue hardship? Why/why not?
