Over the past five weeks, we have examined Cultural Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, and Gerontology.
Those are just a few of the many disciplines within the Social Sciences. There are many others to choose from
(Criminal Justice, Social Work, etc.). However, for our last topic, we will discuss Political Science. While politics
may not be palatable to us, it affects many aspects of our lives at the local, state, federal and global level.
Additionally, Anthropology, Sociology and Gerontology (as well as other social sciences) are affected by
politics.
Explain why is it necessary for us to study politics as a scientific discipline.
