Write a five-page paper (double spaced, 12point Times New Roman font) on any ethical topic discussed in this class. It can be on one of the thought questions presented throughout the class, an ethical dilemma, a philosopher we studied, a book or movie review, or any other relevant question. You MUST present an argument for a specific claim. Be clear about what an argument is: it is not merely a claim; it is a set of reasons for believing a claim is true. Use reliable academic sources to make your argument (poor or non-academic sources will count against you). Make sure your thesis statement is in your first paragraph (make sure you know what a thesis statement is). Spelling and grammar do count. Cite all your references. Include a Works Cited page (not included in your page count). The paper is worth 60 points (30% of your grade.)
