Jargon in your own line of work

  Identify jargon in your own line of work or interview a worker in a field of interest and identify the jargon that is used. Then answer the three questions: How does each term make communication more efficient? What sorts of confusion might arise from the use of each term with certain listeners? In cases where confusion or misunderstandings might arise, suggest alternative words or phrases that could convey the meaning more clearly.
