There are 5 common approaches to deal with conflict; competitive approach, compromising approach, accommodating approach, avoiding approach. Describe each approach and identify which approaches did the CEO of Starbucks utilize to handle the issue below. In 2018, Starbucks was in the news for a major conflict issue related to racial bias. In Philadelphia two African American were denied access to the bathroom for not being paying customers. When the store manager asked them to leave they refused.
