Little Women

While Little Women is a collective title presumably about four sisters, it seems as though Alcott is pressuring the reader to view Jo as the protagonist
of the novel. Who is the true protagonist of the narrative? Are all four March sisters–Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy–experiencing the growth as
protagonists, or is the novel centered more on Jo’s personal journey.
