Macro-analysis to understand the relationship between the aggregate securities market

Choose a country (or a region) and conduct a short macro-analysis to understand the relationship between the aggregate securities market and the aggregate economy. Your analysis should include at least 4 macroeconomic indicators, including at least two leading indicators. For each indicator: - provide a short description, - explain how it relates to the securities market (you can use correlation/regressions, etc to support your analysis), and - explain what it shows in terms of the expected movements in securities markets (consider trends, rates of change, direction of change, comparison with previous cycles).
