You are required to undertake research on two innovative organisations in the same sector who have headquarters in different countries. You will write a 3500 word report on innovation in those organisations that must include the following sections:
- An introduction to the two organisations and their innovative end results.
- Map and critique the innovation space of the two organisations setting out existing practice (i.e. outputs/outcomes).
- Identify and critique the innovation capability of the two organisations (refer to archetype typology).
- Choose one of your organisations and critically identify and describe the innovation management process employed in this organisation using Tidd and Bessant’s 4 step model (search, select, implement and capture).
- Identify recommendations to improve the innovation strategy and innovation management of this one organisation.
- Provide a brief conclusion to your innovation report assignment.
