Mandatory vaccines discussion board post

Description

PLEASE READ/FOLLOW directions. Will be following below prompts. Answer steps one and two (discussion board post, I am pro-vaccines for the common good, protecting those that cannot protect themselves i.e. babies, immunocompromised, etc). USING THE LISTED CITATIONS (ATTACHED PDF IS THE CASE STUDY FOR SECTION 4.9).
-USE ETHICAL PRINCIPLES/TERMINOLOGY (reference: https://bmcmedethics.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1472-6939-15-73).

Step 1: Analyze the Ethical Dimensions of the Public Health Issue and Context
What are the values, ethical principles, and rights that come into conflict in this case? If it’s not possible to respect all of them, how should they be prioritized?
Is the decision to allow unvaccinated children to attend the school justified?
Was there sufficient epidemiological risk to justify the court order?
What if this case were in the United States? Would you feel the same way about your justifications?

Step 2: Formulate Alternative Courses of Action and Evaluate their Ethical Dimensions
Washington state lawmakers are considering changing the law to make it harder for parents to opt out of vaccinating their children.
What are the ethical implications of changing the law? What ethical theories and principles apply? (Be sure you are using ethical terminology.)
What are the ethical implications of continuing to allow parents to opt out of vaccinating their children on personal and philosophical grounds?
