Marketing Plan

In lieu of a final examination, Marketing 449 students have a final project.
Below is an outline of the project.
You decided that you wanted to go into business for yourself. Since you know that you can get people
to do anything that you want, you decide to pick one of the following items to produce and sell.

Kiwi Pills (Supplement) New Mexico White Sand Pet Jewelry
Whether or not the product actually works is irrelevant. You will market the product to the consumer
market and must:
– Decide on which consumer market(s) segments you wish to target. (Explain the reason for
targeting those markets.)
– Decide on a name for the product.
– Decide on which country or countries you will initially market the product.
– Develop a message that will convince the consumers to buy your product.
– Develop a strategy for marketing the product.
Deliverables: (1) An informal marketing plan that provides a detailed description of your marketing
strategy.
(2) The plan should include the strategies and a projected budget for implementing
the strategies.
(3) You should provide as much detail as possible.
(4) You should provide a rationalization for your strategies.
(5) There is no set limit for the number of pages. (Not 500 pages, please!)
(6) Your plan must have a cover page containing your name and the name of the
product.
(7) The pages must be numbered.
Due Dates: (1) The project may be handed in at any time prior to your final examination date,
but absolutely no later than Wednesday, May 16 – 10:00 pm
(2) Final projects may be given to me in person at any time by May 9. After May 9, all
final projects must be submitted to me via email at [email protected]
(3) I will send you a confirmation once I receive your email. If you do not receive a
confirmation email from me by 12:13 am on May 17, you should contact me
