Masculinty Motifs in “Beloved,” and “Alias Grace”

Identify one identical, similar, or parallel pattern, the more specific the better, in “Beloved” by Toni Morrison and
“Alias Grace” by Margaret Atwood and compare them. The pattern doesn’t have to involve sound. For the
purposes of this assignment, you should treat one work first, in the first half of your paper, and then the other,
in the second half. Develop the comparison between them as you analyze the second of the two works.
