Metal nanowires synthesized by vapor-phase methods

    Description - An outline and detailed instruction will be uploaded soon. Topic: a review paper on metal nanowires synthesized by vapor-phase methods. This paper will provide a brief overview of several vapor-phase methods that have been demonstrated for synthesizing nanowires, growth mechanism proposed by each method, evidence for the morphological evolution, structural characterization and dimensional control over nanowires using these methods. The last section is concluded with personal perspectives on the recent advances in the synthesis and application, pros and cons of each method as well as the trends towards which future work on the synthesis of metallic nanowires may be directed.
