Directions:
Prepare and deliver a brief, 10 minute, presentation on your class project and its strengths and limitations as a way to learn ethnographic methodology. Be sure to clearly state your research question and to discuss any modifications you had to make to it and to your choice of participant observation setting. You may use power point or create a video to be uploaded to canvas. In the presentation integrate your findings from the interviews, participant observation, and focus group.
Write a 1-3 page statement reflecting on how you plan to utilize the information, techniques, and methods that you learned in this course in your future research or professional endeavors. Please be as specific as possible in your statement. You may discuss material covered in the readings, lecturers, class discussions and exercises, 2 minute reflections notes, and computer sessions. The goal is to synthesize what you have learned and consider how you will use it in your future working in anthropology, in a different field, or in advanced training in anthropology or a different discipline. Discuss at least 2 of the assigned readings for the course and insight or suggestions from them that helped you with this assignment
