them, and how these support your agreement or disagreement with the author’s position.
Given the problem, type an essay (in one or two pages, maximum), in Arial 12 font, double spaced, normal margins, with your name in the top right
hand corner.
Use text, not diagrams, bullets—this is an essay. An argumentative essay must have a claim/thesis [e.g., “I disagree with the article for the following
reasons…], supporting reasons for the thesis and a conclusion.
