Minorities in Policing

As you know, discrimination is rampant amongst our society and is a very “hot topic” in virtually every form of media outlet. Early police departments ostensibly encouraged it, so eventually, lawmakers had to get involved. Refer to pages 198-99 in your textbook and write a four-page paper about the topic of your choice, providing me a brief summary of its history.
