Imagine that you are a music producer. What would your music sound like? Research what styles, techniques, instrumentation, and musicians you would use to get that sound. Document the lineage of your music and the instrument(s) used through time and cultures. (i.e. The Gibson S.G. electric guitar from the Spanish Guitar from the lute from the Persian ‘oud). Would your music be universally accepted? Where and where not and why? What music exists, if any, that sounds like your music?
