You have been hired as a management consultant with specific expertise in leveraging human capital. You have been asked to develop a recommendation for developing a differentiated workforce. The client is M&T Bank: This institution is heavily focused on sales goals and not employee development. Due to their current strategy, they have had constant turnover in their branches. Instead of teaching staff on how to build on getting sales, managers would have them written up. After the third write up, the employee would be terminated. Leaders of the organization could not understand why employees were so unhappy and so unmotivated and looking to move on to other financial institutions. You have sought assistance from your colleagues and are ready to represent your recommendation to the client as to how they can develop a differentiated workforce. Your recommendation will include the various aspects of planning and organizing associated with developing a differentiated workforce, the implementation and how results would be measured.
